This whimsical horse dances on an abstract background in shades of blue. A mixed media piece, the background was created by dropping alcohol into thinned acrylic paint allowing spontaneous movement of the color into its own design. The horse image was then added by painting in the suggestion of a horse shape and allowing the abstract shapes to meld with it. The painting is on stretched canvas with hanging wire, 18 × 24 inches.
